Terms and Conditions

All quotes are generated by Moving Direct Property, a trading name of Indigo Conveyancing Services Ltd. Moving Direct Property works with companies to provide instant conveyancing & survey quotes. Each quote is generated based on the information provided by you.

For accurate results, please ensure you have given the right information to calculate your quote. If any information is not correct, the quote may be void. All quotes provided are fixed for both a straightforward conveyancing transaction or a property survey and valid for 90 days from the time the quote was generated. Quotes are strictly valid for properties based in England and Wales.

Payment flow / Refund & Cancellation Policy / Delivery Policy

Conveyancing Transactions

Moving Direct Property and its partner companies will require a deposit for of £200 +vat for a conveyancing transaction.  Once Payment and Client ID has been supplied, we will start working on your instruction.  Should you cancel the transaction within the first 14 days, there will be no chargers and a full refund will be made.  Cancellations after 14 days will also qualify for a refund, but this will be less ID/AML fees and Official Copy entries and any other disbursements paid such as conveyancing searches, disbursements incurring costs will depend on the type of transaction such as a sale or purchase.  A full list of disbursements can be found on the quote provided.

Survey Bookings

Moving Direct Property and its partner companies will require a full payment of the survey before any booking can take place. We aim to book all surveys in within 10 working days from confirmation of instruction and payment of booking.  If you need to cancel your survey, we must have a minimum of 24 hours notice in writing (via email to both Moving Direct & your allocated Surveyor) for a refund to be issued, the refund will then be processed and made by Moving Direct Property within 5 work days.  Failure to provide 24 hours notice will result in a partial refund of £100. There is also No Refund once the survey has taken place.  No survey will take place unless full payment has been received. 

Once your survey has been completed by one of our surveying partners, they aim to have a full report to you within 5 working days.  If you have any concerns about your survey these must at first be directed to the surveyor that has carried out your survey.  If you are unable to resolve any concerns directly with your survey you may contact our Complaints Handler at ollie@movingdirectproperty.co.uk

Compliance

All solicitors / Surveyors introduced by Moving Direct Property and/or its partner companies are regulated by the Solicitor Regulatory Authority (SRA) or the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) & the RICS.  To ensure all of our partners deliver the expect high standard of service we promise we regularly carry our customer reviews and spot checks.  If a partner firms fails to maintain our expected levels then they will be removed from our a panel 

 

What is expected of you

Moving Direct Property have forged partnerships with Conveyancers & Surveyors and if you do not wish to be contacted about other services, please advise us.

We reserve the right to cease the case of any client at any stage during their transaction if any of our staff or the staff of the recommended solicitors or surveyors firm experience any rudeness or threatening behaviour from our clients. A refund or part refund will be offered, the amount of refund will be determined by the company and based upon the amount of work carried out.

Data protection

We do not store credit card details, nor do we share financial details with any third parties. We do share with some partner companies some data from time to time for the process of assisting with the development of related products.
